RSUPPORT's RemoteMeeting Delivers Cloud-Based Video Conferencing

May 01, 2017

Thanks to flexible working environments, today’s workers are out of the office more often than not in many cases. As a result, enterprises are looking for video communication solutions that will allow them to bring everyone together at a moment's notice on any device. The launch of RemoteMeeting by RSUPPORT is going to use the company's global cloud service for remote collaboration with video conferencing on a Web browser with tools designed for enterprises.

Video conferencing has become a key tool for collaboration in today's workforce, and as mobile devices increase their computing capability and wireless broadband continues to get faster, video communication will become the norm. Using browser based real-time communications such as WebRTC means the solution can be device agnostic, as long as the browser supports the application.

RSUPPORT provides remote support and control solutions as a global cloud service using video conferencing. According to the company, RemoteMeeting is simplifying and expanding enterprise video collaboration by allowing end users to start a meeting with only two clicks on a browser enabled smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop regardless of the operating system and without installing any additional programs.

“As the RemoteMeeting is optimized for enterprises with thorough technology support and function of administrator’s page for enterprise, we completed the ‘Remote’ portfolio for smart collaboration of enterprises consisting of RemoteCall for remote support, RemoteView for remote management and RemoteMeeting for remote video conference,” said HyungSu Seo, President of RSUPPORT.

Using the administrator's Web page, enterprises can manage a range of functions before, during and after a conference to keep track of participants and their conversations. RSUPPORT is providing the solution as free service that limits the number of participants to only three with standard definition video and online chat, as well as a business version. With the business or premium version, up to 14 people can participate in a conference with HD definition video, screen and document sharing, personalized history, meeting minutes and more. RSUPPORT is looking to differentiate itself with a cost-per-use pricing structure so users can better monitor their budget and adjust accordingly as their needs increase or decrease.

The solution also comes with hardware it calls RemoteMeeting Box with HDMI, USB, Ethernet and SSD ports. Using the Yealink (News - Alert) line of VC120 and VC400 systems, the cameras and speakers can be automatically detected by the Box and start a video conference with full-HD video and 3-microphone array and multiple calling options.

RemoteMeeting is available now with a free trial that will last until the end of May 2017.
