T5 Series Takes IP Phones to Next Level

April 21, 2017

Digital transformation has taken hold, and is revealing revolutionary change. From the data center and conference room, to the c-suite and the contact center the disruption is real, and quite exciting. Many may not realize, but the IP Phone (News - Alert) is in the midst of revolutionary change as well; equally as important as the “best-in-breed” UC solution your firm has in place, the IP Phone can make or break your communications experience. Leading the way in this arena is China-based Yealink (News - Alert), and well, the best keep getting better it would seem.

This week, the market saw the unveiling of the T5 Smart Media Phone series, a cut above anything we’ve seen from the leading provider of unified communications IP endpoints. Distribution begins April 20 for the T56A, T58A and T58V phones.

The new product suite brings an industry-unique, future forward design to the table, featuring the flexible and user friendly nature of the series. The T5’s heads-up LCD touch screen provides one touch instant access to screen information. The screen and camera are easily adjusted to ensure the angle and height is just right.

In addition, with Opus codec support coupled with the latest and greatest in sound processing technology and enhanced HD voice, communications become a truly immersive experience. Also, the HD camera ensures a vivid visual experience.

Users can leverage the T5’s built in browser, or put a third party application to work as a result of the Android (News - Alert) operating system. Other perks include color-expansion support, USB headset, Wi-Fi connectivity, dual port GigE, built-in Bluetooth and supports up to 16 SIP accounts.

“The T5 Smart Media Phones series is an innovative solution that offers greater convenience and flexibility for today’s professionals,” said Stone Lu (News - Alert), Vice President of Yealink. “We’re confident that these phones align well with our customers’ cost and functionality needs.”

Built on ambition and innovation, the T5 series follows in the future forward and feature rich footsteps before them. Your unified communications experience hinges on a lot of components, so choose your IP phones wisely.
