Yealink Provides IP Phone Upgrade for Michigan Medical Group

Communications in any business are a key cog in the wheel of success, but in a medical setting these interactions can mean the difference of life or death. Doctor offices require the best of the best in IP endpoints, and recently, Novi, Michigan’s Providence Park Medical Group, successfully integrated a number of Yealink’s (News - Alert) industry leading IP phones.

Providence Park Medical Group can now put Yealink’s SIP-T48G, SIP-T46G and DECT W56P phones to work. Last year, Providence park Medical Group made the decision to upgrade its legacy Cisco (News - Alert) system, and was in the market for a pocket friendly, yet robust solution that included improved call quality, lower cost, improved features, centralized management, scalability, embedded DSS keys and gigabit functionality.

“To the end user, the phone system IS their phone,” stated James Peludat, principal solutions architect at WaTech. “That’s their interface to all of the phone system features and is what they base their user experience on.  Not many people understand the complex behind the scenes programming of a phone system implementation.  But when you place a beautiful color touchscreen phone (T48G) on their desk that is easy to use and sounds great, people instantly have confidence in the entire project.”  

Providence Park Medical Group gathered a group of options, and demoed various products available. WaTech was able to offer its scalable and cost effective cloud hosted platform in conjunction with Yealink’s feature rich and future forward IP phones, making the decision rather easy.
