Voxbone and Dialpad Improve Cloud Communications
The workplace has been redefined, and it no longer resembles what it was just a decade ago. Mobile technology, broadband services and cloud computing are allowing companies and their employees to work from anywhere and collaborate seamlessly. With communications being one of the key tools of a business, the new partnership between Voxbone (News - Alert) and Dialpad is addressing the segment by bringing their technologies together to give organizations better access to local numbers instantly around the world.
Dialpad is, according to the company, the number one pure-cloud communications solutions for business. The technology it has developed lets workers talk, text, make video calls, and meet online with customers and colleagues on any device with full integration of Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 and G Suite. The ease of use of the platform has resulted in some of the leading organizations in the world adopting its solution, including Netflix, Financial Times, Uber, Motorola (News - Alert) Solutions, Georgetown University and 60 percent of the Fortune 500, who make up the more than 40,000 customers.
As Dialpad grows and looks to provide local presence for its customers, Voxbone is going to make it possible for the company to obtain local numbers and SMS services instantly with a network of virtual numbers in more than 60 countries and 9,000 cities around the world.
“Voxbone allows us to easily provide our customers with emergency phone numbers in the cloud, eliminating the high cost and inconvenience of supporting hardwired desk phones that are rarely used for any other purpose. Voxbone is a key partner enabling us to kill off the desk phone with an Anywhere IT Stack that supports a company’s workers no matter where in the world they are located,” says Dialpad CEO Craig Walker (News - Alert).
Voxbone has an IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) platform that gives cloud communications providers, international carriers and enterprise contact centers the ability to extend their reach of voice networks on demand at wholesale pricing.
The cloud communications Voxbone offers is going to allow Dialpad customers to access local services without having to deal with regional regulations that take valuable time and resources to navigate. According to Voxbone, customers can enter a new market with just a few clicks. It will include outbound emergency access for thousands of Dialpad customers across different countries.
“We’re seeing enterprise communications move into the cloud and leave traditional telephony in the dust. Dialpad’s cross-platform solution is a great example of how companies can enter new markets without being bogged down with the time and costs of setting up a traditional telephony system. Voxbone is excited to help deliver this solution to Dialpad’s customers, and do so in a quick and compliant way,” says Voxbone CEO Itay Rosenfeld.
