Yealink Bolsters Skype for Business IP Phone Offerings
Skype (News - Alert) for Business is one of the prominent collaboration tools available, but like any exceptional communications solution, the experience is defined by quality. Not all endpoints are created equal, so when selecting an IP Phone (News - Alert) it is mission critical to do one’s due diligence in the vetting process. Making this process a touch easier, is partnerships. Successful interoperability testing results in offering users a selection of suitable pairings, without the hassle of the hunt.
This week, Skype for Business announced an expanded set of IP phone offerings, as the Yealink T46G and T48G can now be deployed in hybrid environments or on-premises in addition to being Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365 compatible.
“The latest certification affirms our continuous commitment to enhancing interoperability and to bringing lifelike and productive communication experience through our phone endpoints for Skype for Business customers,” said Yealink Vice President Stone Lu (News - Alert).
The two new additions tout a future forward design and feature rich performance. Both phones offer Yealink (News - Alert) Optimal HD Voice, and the T48G adds a seven inch touchscreen with a Skype-inspired interface that provides an easy to maneuver and exceptional user experience. And, with Yealink’s pre-install firmware service, deployment and management is as user friendly as possible.
"Yealink addresses the growing demand from companies who want to optimize their unified communication experience,” said Tiffany Wissner, senior director, Skype for Business at Microsoft Corp. “Yealink gives Office 365 users a quality IP phone solution and the familiarity of Skype for Business without having to break the bank.”
Yealink built a foundation on ambition and innovation; continuing to innovate its way into the future, the China-based firm is finding great success in 2017. Only time will tell what more we can expect from one of the world’s leading providers of IP phones.
