Grandstream's GXP1700 IP Phones and HT800 ATAs Now Interoperable with BroadSoft
The BroadSoft (News - Alert) Business platform is a cloud communications and collaboration solution designed to address today's highly dynamic and flexible digital ecosystem. Unlike traditional on-site phone systems, the software-as-a-service suite of communications services can be customized and scaled for organizations of any size. Having full interoperability with this platform therefore gives hardware manufacturers a solution that is trusted by 25 of the world’s top 30 service providers by revenue. And this is what Grandstream Networks (News - Alert) has accomplished with its new GXP1700 series of mid-range IP phones and HT800 series of analog telephone adapters.
Grandstream Networks provides SIP Unified Communications (News - Alert) products and solutions serving small and medium business and enterprise markets since 2002. The company has been making its product accessible with open standard SIP-based products with broad interoperability throughout the industry. This new interoperability will give Grandstream customers access to the suite of SaaS communication services, including cloud PBX (News - Alert), unified communications, team collaboration and contact center from BroadSoft.
The interoperability testing was successfully completed, which will make it possible for all of Grandstream’s current IP phones and ATAs to work seamlessly with the BroadSoft Business SaaS suite. The phones that have been approved include the GXP1600 series of Basic IP Phones, the GXP1700 series, the GXP2100 series of High-End IP phones, the GXV series of IP Video Phones for Android and the DP series of DECT Cordless IP phones.
The HT800 series of ATAs can be deployed to integrate analog phones with IP networks, making the BroadSoft line of services available to customers that haven't migrated to IP communications. According to the company, all of the devices were tested with the BroadSoft BroadWorks call control platform.
BroadSoft has been providing innovative solutions in IP network and cloud-based unified communication software and services since 1998. And with 25 of the 30 global services providers relying on its technology across 80 countries, the company has a proven line of products and services. One of the latest global companies to go through an interoperability testing in addition to Grandstream Networks is Yealink.
These types of interoperability testing bring companies together to extend customer base as well as enable organizations to put the technology to work, out of the box without additional costs.
